Inspiration comes from ancient art as an expression of the sacred, natural history, folklore, tales of mystery and magic, and legends, especially those in which we find helping creatures and animals.”

It is so unbelievably rubbish that Tumblr doesn’t show everything posted by everyone I follow on my dashboard.

And that some of my long time followers might not be seeing my posts now!

(ivotemelkov told me that Tumblr said:

“The first page of the Dashboard (or the first 10 posts if Endless scrolling enabled) shows the most recent 10 posts among all the people you follow, then only the posts from the most recent 100 users you follow who posted something. There’s no way to change that, but I can’t tell you how much we appreciate your support and feedback. I’ve passed your suggestion along to our team.”)

Edit: I’m totally confused by this message - as it doesn’t match up to our experience that only the first page / 10 posts are from everyone you follow, I had taken it to actually mean that you first see the most recent 10 posts from everyone, no matter how many pages that takes up. Then you see only posts from recent 100. But, reading the message again, it definitely does say ‘first page of the Dashboard (or the first 10 posts if Endless scrolling enabled)’… so it just doesn’t make any sense!

I’ve asked Tumblr support to clarify.
